Call for Abstracts

We are now accepting “Late Breaking” abstracts until 15th October. If there are more submissions than available slots, priority will be given to presenters who have not already submitted an abstract and have registered for the Conference. Abstracts will be presented as posters only. Please format the abstracts according to the guidelines below. If a student is the presenting author, they will not be eligible for an award. Late-breaking abstracts will be published in the Journal of Intermediary Metabolism along with other abstracts from the conference.

The Nutrition Society of Australia 2016 Annual Scientific Meeting invites the submission of abstracts for original work. Abstracts will be considered for oral or poster presentations in the NSA 2016 Program. Abstract submission will open on 3 June 2016.

Summary of Abstract Submission Instructions

Please read through the submission instructions listed below before preparing your abstract:

Step 1: Read the General Policies and Requirements for the submission of abstracts.
Step 2: Write your abstract following the NSA Final Guidelines.
Step 3: Download the NSA Abstract Template and insert/add your abstract text. Save as a .doc document to your computer.
Step 4: Click on the below icon to complete the Abstract Submission Form. It will be necessary to attach/upload the .doc copy of your abstract.

Please note: Abstracts must not exceed a 250 word limit.

NOTE: Please print a copy of the abstract submission form for your records prior to clicking ‘upload’.

Notification of Acceptance

Notifications of acceptance will be sent via e-mail to the submitting author by 16 September 2016. Abstracts submitted for oral presentations that cannot be accommodated within the program will be  reviewed for a place in the Poster display.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference proceedings. The Conference Managers will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via the website or for submission errors caused by internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.
